Description: What You Will Be Doing As the Multi-Functional Manufacturing Manager, you'll be responsible for managing more than one functional area within the production operations environment. This will include: u2022 Overseeing and leading operations in areas such as machining, assembly, and tool and die. u2022 Coordinating recruitment, selection, and training processes for subordinate employees. u2022 Managing performance assessments, work assignments, salary, recognition, and disciplinary actions. u2022 Ensuring adherence to manufacturing schedules while adapting to changing requirements. u2022 Driving continuous improvement and operational excellence across manufacturing teams. u2022 Developing and mentoring teams through COA techniques to strengthen overall performance. Basic Qualifications: u2022 Experience Leading in an aircraft manufacturing operations environment. u2022 Experience with mentoring &/or developing teams using COA techniques. u2022 Experience working with &/or adapting to dynamic manufacturing schedules. u2022 Experience in the recruitment &/or development of talent to strengthen the organization. Desired Skills: u2022 5 + years of leadership experience in an aircraft manufacturing operations environment. u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree with 10+ years relevant experience. u2022 Demonstrated ability to work across Functions/Lines of Business. u2022 F-16 Manufacturing structures manufacturing experience. u2022 Strong team building skills leading hourly collective bargaining units. u2022 Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain engaged and productive working relationships. u2022 Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. u2022 Possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interface with all levels of the organization, support organizations, customers, and governmental oversight organizations. u2022 Strategic and creative thinker with the ability to effectively communicate the need for change and motivate teams. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
