Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Neurology Nurse, you will be a specialized expert, providing critical care to patients facing complex neurological conditions and guiding their families through pivotal health decisions. Every day, you will perform intricate neurological and head-to-toe exams, meticulously monitor vitals, manage specialized drains, administer medications, and collaborate seamlessly with our interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes for challenging cases like hemorrhages, strokes, and tumors. Your resilience, empathy, and dedication to excellence will be paramount in an environment where every case pushes the boundaries of care. + Demonstrate competence to performs the core responsibilities of the staff nurse in + Imaging Services. + Demonstrate competency in basic clinical procedures performed in the Imaging Services according to the established nursing policy. + Administers medication and IVu2019s safely, following the u201cfive rightsu201d of medication administration and within the nursing policy. + Transcribes and implements physician orders accurately and within nursing procedure time frames and policy. + Completes department documentation requirements according to established policy, time frames, and format including; documentation of patient care on medical records, and maintenance of patient charging system.
