Loader Operator - Asphalt Plant

JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Loader Operator is primarily responsible foroperating heavy equipment at our asphalt plant to ensure efficient siteoperations. Responsibilities include assisting the Plant Manager orother team members in all aspects of plant operations, learning how tooperate asphalt batching systems, and performing light maintenance ormanual labor as needed. The ideal candidate must be able to work in ateam environment with the capability to problem solve or respond tocustomer inquiries utilizing effective communication skills. Withtraining, the loader operator must be able to understand and enforceproper loading procedures and traffic patterns in and around the asphaltplant. Safety is a top priority at MCC, Inc. All team members must beable to work safely on all job sites around moving equipment andtraffic, and in various weather conditions. This includes ensuring andpromoting compliance with all workplace rules and regulations accordingto company policy, and all governing agencies. MCC, Inc. is a versatilecompany that requires employees to cross-train on other duties orwork-tasks as assigned. On-the-job training is provided to ensure allqualified candidates acclimate to MCC, Inc.'s various workplacepolicies and procedures. OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:Experience as a loader operator with a good safety record dependent judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability totroubleshoot or problem-solve. Self-Motivated to perform work tasksaccording to written instruction without supervision. Must be able tohandle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced work environment.Strong communications skills (verbal and written) with the ability totake directives from a variety of people and departments. Ability toassess and report various hazards and work safely to prevent accidentsand injuries.
