Project Engineer Mechanical or Plumbing

ResponsibilitiesWhat you will do:- Lead the design and development of mechanical and plumbing systems from planning through construction.- Perform and review engineering calculations, reports, and construction documents with accountability for quality and accuracy.- Manage technical tasks, monitor project scope, schedule, and budget, and coordinate deliverables with internal teams and external partners.- Conduct field investigations, site visits, and construction observations to ensure design intent and compliance.- Serve as a client contact, leading meetings and communicating project updates with professionalism and sound judgment.- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, providing guidance and review of design work.- Utilize software tools such as Microsoft Office, CADD, BIM, and modeling platforms to produce design deliverables. QualificationsWhat you bring:- Bachelors degree from an ABET-accredited program in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.- 4+ yearsof post-graduate engineering experience, preferably in mechanical or plumbing design.- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida required; multi-state licensure may be beneficial.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CADD, BIM, and relevant modeling or analysis software.- Strong technical writing, communication, and problem-solving skills.- Demonstrated ability to lead project components and coordinate multidisciplinary efforts.- Effectivementoring, time management, and organizational skills.- The selected candidate must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
