Electrical Engineer I- Power Focused

The Electrical Engineer I is responsible for completing design efficiently using industry and organizational standards. They work with project leaders to complete conceptual designs, detailed designs, and associated documentation. An Electrical Engineer I executes simple design concepts independently and completes site visits with others.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Secondary Responsibilities:Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. This is an entry-level position, and while 0-3 years of experience is preferred, a combination of relevant education and practical experience, including internships or co-op positions, will also be considered. Candidates must have knowledge of electrical terminology and components, electrical symbols, and the National Electric Code (NEC). Proficiency in drafting software is preferred. EIT (Engineer in Training) certification or a willingness to obtain it is a plus.Travel Requirements: Travel will be required and will vary according to business requirements. Our salary ranges are determined by the experience and education required, and level of responsibility. The range posted for this role represents a range that Interstates, in good faith, believes it is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
