Structural Engineer

Job Title: Structural Engineer Weu2019re looking for a Structural Engineer to join our Architectural Engineering team at our Wichita and Overland Park locations (in office). This individual will assist with the design of a variety of projects that may include schools, churches, hospitals, hotels, office buildings, and other commercial and industrial projects. Responsibilities: u00b7 Assist with the design and production of detailed design drawings, electronic models, specifications, written reports, and site observation reports. u00b7 Complete structural calculations with different design materials, specifically with steel and concrete. u00b7 Assist in the selection of the appropriate building materials. u00b7 Prepare and assist with project proposals, interviews, and client presentations. u00b7 Attend client meetings to ensure the design meets their needs and objectives. u00b7 Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to production staff. Requirements: u00b7 Civil/Structural or Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program. u00b7 5+ years of relevant experience. u00b7 PE license in Kansas is preferred (or on trackto obtain a PE license). u00b7 Familiar with Structural Drafting software (Revit, AutoCAD, etc.). u00b7 ProficientStructural Analysis software (RISA, STAAD, Enercalc, etc.) u00b7 Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). u00b7 Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to handle multiple project tasks. Excellent presentation, written communication, time management, and organizational skills are required. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Wichita, KS.
