This position requires a service-committed individual, who is detail oriented and can perform complex data analysis, exercise sound, independent judgment and demonstrate critical thinking skills.ResponsibilitiesYou will receive specimens, establish and maintain positive identification of specimensYou will determine suitability of specimenYou will acquire/prepare reagents as neededYou will perform instrument maintenance and calibrationRequirementsBachelor's degree in Medical Technology or SciencesCertification or registry eligible for Medical Technologist, MLS (ASCP), or MT (ASCP), or AMT or MT (AAB)SM (ASCP)Current Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist (MA-P) certification or Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist eligible (if duties will include phlebotomy)SC, SM (ASCP), MS in Clinical Chemistry or molecular diagnostics experience preferred for Immunology onlyAbout Allenmore HospitalMultiCare Allenmore Hospital has served Tacoma since 1929, offering convenient access to primary and specialty care services.
