Operations Manager

JOB REQUIREMENTS: POSITION SUMMARYThe Operations Manager is responsiblefor overseeing the manufacturing and operations of all facilities. JOBRESPONSIBILITIES SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure all plants arerunning effectively and efficiently. Manager the relationship with eachplant from the Plant Manager and Production Supervisor level as well asgeneral labor. Manage high level production issues including Evaluatingnew equipment acquisition to increase efficiency and assist in newopportunities. Overall production rates using resources such asController and Production Supervisor. Manage plant expenses versusbudget. Control the relationship with the staffing agency, freight andkey vendors in conjunction with the respective subordinate. Oversee theproduction meetings to ensure that orders are processing effectively.Manage direct plant personnel including Purchasing, Quality Control,Production and Logistics. OBJECTIVES: Organize all plant locations tomaximize efficiency. Negotiate vendor agreements and leverage our buyingcapacity. Establish new systems for monitoring rates by equipment aswell as efficiency by employee. Maximize the efficiency of the logisticscapabilities for distribution and establish a method to determine costto ship by product class. Initiate a preventative maintenance protocolfor all equipment.
