Your recruiter will provide the most up-to-date details during the hiring process.Responsibilities Assist the oral surgeon during medical procedures.Assist in preparation and set-up of for surgical procedures in the office and hospital operating rooms.Monitor patients and assists with general anesthesia and IV sedation procedures in hospital and outpatient office settings.Discuss post-operative instructions for care and management with the patient. Relay post-operative complications/questions to surgeon.Maintain surgical equipment.Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration:One or more of the following required:Dental Anest Asst Natl Cert credentialed from the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.Dental Assistant obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.Education:High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.Additional Preferences No additional preferences.
