Identifies resources, provides information, and supports patients and families regarding the impact of genetic municates patient information to medical providers.Obtains appropriate informed consent for gene testing.Provides counseling in-person, by telephone, and/or telehealth based on patient and facility needs.Counsels patients regarding risks, need for gene testing, and treatment options.
