Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance, location and salary range at the time of the offer.Responsibilities As an APRN or PA with the AscensionSeton Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery team, you will evaluate emergency department trauma patients, manage admitted patients in a hospital setting, and pre/post-operative patients in a hospital-based outpatient clinic. You will be based out of Dell Seton Medical Center but also provide supportat Ascension Seton Hays, Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin, and Ascension Seton Williamson.Position Highlights:Acute Care Certification is strongly preferred for all NP applicants at the time of applicationAPRN-First Assist Certification preferredPreferred inpatient surgical experience, but willing to train the right candidateThere is the opportunity for extra shift payResponsibilities:Obtains patient history and performs assessment. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.Licensed Physician Assistant credentialed from the Texas Medical Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.Certified Physician Assistant credentialed from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.Education:Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program.
