Job DescriptionAs a Sr. District Controller, you will be responsible for the preparation of financial and operating reports, conducting and documenting financial analysis projects. The Sr. District Controller will work directly with the lead operator at the account and enforce procedures that maximize profit by ensuring operational targets, internal control of inventories, cash, and equipment. Job Responsibilities Highly collaborative with leadership and communicate key levers to improve marginsFinancial planning and analysis: create annual forecast/budget by venue, create weekly/monthly/annual financial reportsAccountable for Cash Flow, Cash and Banking, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and Capital ExpendituresWeekly/Monthly reporting - including analyzing and communicating to the corporation and operators, including targets with SMART actionsAudits/Contract Compliance - including Cash, Accounts Payable, SOX and working with internal corporate auditorsMaintain all financial records and reports in adherence with Aramark’s Business Conduct Policy and all local, state, and federal regulations and codesTrain and develop finance and operations teams on financial acumen and policiesClient Communication (as applicable) - including systems, reporting, and changes to the programAssist in operational support as needed with direction from Good Uncle Leadership/Regional Finance DirectorDevelop proformas for new business and revenue growth opportunitiesPerforms regional and account related duties as directed by the Director of FP&AAt Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers. In order to meet our commitments, job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice.Qualifications Minimum 4-5years of progressive financial experience required, including AP/AR, payroll, and P&L managementIdeal candidates will possess a bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting Ability to work closely with a team in budgeting, cost controls and monthly reporting is critical.Adhering to generally accepted accounting practices and observing all financial controls and processes is required.Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work under strict deadlines are essentialMust be organized, demonstrate initiative and have ability to diagnose current state and achieve process improvementExcellent Microsoft Excel skills requiredCandidate must be willing to work event-based hours that include evenings and weekendsThis role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing.
