As a Social Media Specialist, you will be an integral part of the marketing department supporting the digital engagement and community growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate creativity, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Social Media Specialist Location: Atlanta, GA Pay Range: $45.00/hourly Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM What's the Job? Foster engagement and community growth across social platforms by responding to comments, initiating conversations, and encouraging active participation. Manage and secure user-generated content permissions across channels such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and X. Respond to and route inquiries received through marketing inboxes, ensuring timely and professional communication. Research and connect with influencers and brand loyalists within the community to enhance brand visibility. Collaborate with the Content Lead to develop and execute a content calendar aligned with marketing strategies. What's Needed? Bachelor’s degree in communications, social media, marketing, digital media, or a related field. At least 2 years of hands-on experience in managing social media platforms and campaigns. Proficiency in creating both organic and paid social media campaigns. Deep understanding of social media analytics tools, content optimization strategies, and community engagement techniques. Strong editorial judgment, exceptional writing skills, and excellent verbal and written communication abilities. What's in it for me?
