This position initiates and maintains appropriate therapy, including life support techniques and equipment. This role provides preventive, supportive, and corrective interventions related to the cardiopulmonary system in assigned patient care areas. In addition, this position applies knowledge and skills necessary for appropriate interactions with staff, patients, and families. Additionally, this role demonstrates and maintains minimum competency in all applicable clinical skills.Documents and charges for procedures accurately and completely.Demonstrates collaboration and teamwork in assisting with patient flow.Practices standard precautions and enforces safety regulations according to hospital terprets evaluations and test results to determine appropriate treatment plans in consultation with interdisciplinary healthcare team.Responds to all Code Blue emergencies immediately providing CPR according to the American Heart Association and performs other duties as directed.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:• Patient care skills to care for neonatal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations per hospital needs.Education:• Associate [Required]Field of Study:• in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary ScienceWork Experience:• 1+ critical care experience [Preferred]Licenses and Certifications:• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) [Required]• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]Physical Requirements: (Please click the link below to view work requirements)Physical Requirements -Range:$23.71 - $44.09This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
