A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide skilled therapy services within a K-12 educational setting in Chicago, IL. This role is designed for a licensed SLP committed to supporting students' communication development throughout the school year.Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students exhibiting communication challengesDevelop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's unique needsCollaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to foster positive student outcomesMonitor progress and adjust interventions to align with educational goalsMaintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory and school requirementsQualifications and Experience:Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)Demonstrated experience providing skilled therapy services in an educational environmentStrong knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders and intervention techniquesAbility to engage effectively with students of varying ages and backgroundsExcellent communication and organizational skillsLocation:Chicago, IllinoisDuration:Contract position covering the school yearThis opportunity allows a skilled SLP to make a meaningful impact on students' communication abilities while gaining valuable experience in an urban K-12 school setting.
