This position may also be eligible for a shift differential and/or overtime. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).What You'll Do Overview: The Production Team Lead is responsible for overseeing production operator and operations ensuring product output is produced in adherence to safety, quality, and manufacturing standards, but also leading by example through Kerry's Leadership Competencies. Responsibilities: • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while maintaining a hazard-free work area. • Monitor employee adherence to all policies and procedures, address concerns, and escalate for support. • Maintain and monitor employee adherence to GMPs, PPE, and 5S standards. • Report and investigate all employee incidents (HR, Safety, Food Safety & Quality). • Work with the shift supervisor to oversee blending or batching and pulling departments; act as a backup for the shift supervisor in their absence. • Provide daily direction to cell leads and cell lead-trainers. • Prepare and lead the Tier 1 Meeting; act as a backup for the supervisor in Tier 2 Meetings. • Ensure completion and compliance of the Attainment to Plan Boards in the department; escalate as required. • Oversee room operations, ensuring adherence to SAP schedules, recipes, and inventory troubleshooting. • Maintain supplies for the room and ensure room cleanliness. • Interpret the production schedule in chronological order to determine the next process to run, direct employees, and maintain leads on lines to prevent downtime. • Assist in decision-making for production processes and continuous improvement activities. • Lead and participate in Root Cause Analysis for the department. • Operate a forklift. • Create job assignments in SAP. • Enter computer data accurately into SAP. • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.What You'll Need To Be Successful And Safe 3rd Shift M-F 9pm to 5 am with $1.50 per hour shift differential Required Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Ability to use SAP and tablet devices. • Previous experience operating a sit-down forklift. • Basic computer experience. • 2-3 years of previous manufacturing experience required. • Previous work experience within a food manufacturing, blending operation, and distribution environment required. • Organizational and excellent communication skills. • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English at a level to facilitate the understanding of job terminology. • Ability to comprehend and follow written and/or verbal procedures or instructions. • Previous experience with scanners/RF guns preferred. • 2-3 years of people leadership experience preferred. Working Conditions & Physical Requirements: • Food manufacturing plant and warehouse environment. • Ability to kneel, bend, squat, stoop, carry, reach, stand, grip, push, pull, perform arm extensions, and elevated work. • Ability to work in hot, cold, or wet environments. • Ability to lift 50 pounds continuously. • Ability to work overtime and use a flexible schedule. • Ability to walk up to 135 feet one way many times a day. • Ability to continuously stand/walk up to 12 hours. • Ability to climb stairs or platform ladder.
