As we continuously innovate and refine our care model, the role of the Child Behavior Therapist, or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)is essential. Through our specialized approach, we empower children with autism, guiding them towards realizing their full potential. Our methods are rooted in the principles of the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), a play-based approach within the framework of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy. By joining our team, you'll play a vital role in advancing our mission-driven care model. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized ABA therapy sessions to children aged 2-6 in our clinic, adhering to the profession's rigorous standardsImplement intervention plans developed by our expert Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), ensuring alignment with ABA therapy principlesBuild rapport and maintain ongoing communication with families, providing regular updates on their child's progress within the ABA frameworkParticipate in continuous training and professional development to stay abreast of advancements in ABA therapy and maintain certification Qualifications: Preferably enrolled in or completed a degree program, with a focus on Child Development, Psychology, or related fieldsAbility to obtain and maintain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (Soar provides paid training)Previous experience working with children, particularly those with autism, and a passion for helping them thriveStrong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleaguesMust have reliable transportation to both training location and local center. Punctuality isessentialMust be able to meet the following physical requirements: sit and stand frequently, shift positions quickly, lift up to 50 lbs., sit/kneel on the floor for extended periods of time, sit in a chair, stand, walk, and occasionally run short distances to catch up with a client What We Offer: $21.50 - $28.50/hour with regular bonus and promotion opportunities. The initial offer hourly pay will be between $21.50 - $22.75.
