Workday Security AnalystRaleigh, NCMust-Haves: Bachelor’s Degree in HR, HRIS, IT, or related field 5+ years of HR/HRIS or related experience 3+ years of Workday experience across HCM, Security, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, and Reporting Strong experience configuring Workday security including roles, domain permissions, business process security, integration security groups Experience with Authentication Policies, Single Sign-On, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Advanced Excel skills and Workday report building (Report Writer, calculated fields) Ability to manage confidential data and operate in fast-paced environments Position Overview:The Workday Security Analyst serves as a senior HRIS professional responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing the Workday system. This role ensures data integrity, oversees access controls and user permissions, and drives security enhancements while partnering with HR, IT, and leadership to support compliance, process improvement, and system functionality. Key Responsibilities: Configure and maintain Workday security roles, domain permissions, business process and integration security groups Develop, implement, and manage Workday security policies, procedures, and governance documentation Troubleshoot security-related issues, access problems, and system errors for end-users Support internal and external SOX audits with documentation, security compliance, and access controls Ensure data integrity within Workday through regular audits and security role reviews Design custom reports, dashboards, and analytics using Workday Report Writer and advanced Excel tools Collaborate with HR, IT, and business partners to evaluate requirements, recommend solutions, and implement system enhancements Lead or assist with HRIS projects, including migrations, new module implementations, and enhancements Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, change management, and security processes Stay informed on Workday best practices, participate in Workday Community and user groups Preferred Qualifications: Workday Security Certification Experience working in consulting or large enterprise environments Strong communication, documentation, and project management skills Proven ability to analyze data, troubleshoot system issues, and manage multiple priorities
