=============================== POSTING ======================================= Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer Dallas, TX Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Developer with deep hands-on experience in building, customizing, and optimizing enterprise-scale eCommerce solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SFRA architecture, modern JavaScript, API integrations, and performance optimization, along with experience working in Agile environments. Key Skills & Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable eCommerce solutions using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC / Demandware). Work extensively with SFRA architecture, including controllers, routes, middleware, cartridges, ISML templates, and Business Manager configurations. Develop and enhance responsive UI components using JavaScript (ES6+), CSS/SASS, and cross-browser best practices. Implement and manage integrations using OCAPI (Shop/Data) and SCAPI, including authentication, scopes, and rate-limit handling. Build backend logic using SFCC scripts, jobs, services framework, and custom objects. Develop and support API integrations (REST/SOAP) and event-driven integrations using Kafka (topics, partitions, consumer groups, schema formats such as Avro/JSON). Perform debugging, monitoring, and performance tuning using logs, site analytics, and APM tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external vendors in an Agile/Scrum environment. Follow best practices for Git-based version control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing. Required Skills & Experience 8+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC / Demandware). Strong experience with SFRA and/or SiteGenesis architecture. Proficiency in ISML, controllers, routes, middleware, pipelines, cartridges, and Business Manager. Solid hands-on experience with JavaScript (ES6+), CSS/SASS, and responsive UI development. Experience with OCAPI, SCAPI, and third-party system integrations. Working knowledge of Kafka and distributed event-based systems. Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills. Experience with CI/CD, Git workflows, and automated testing frameworks. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced Agile teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience in high-traffic or enterprise-level eCommerce platforms. Exposure to cloud-based monitoring and performance tools.
