General Medicine Provider Job Description General Medicine Provider Job Summary Perform Compensation & Pension exams + Separation Health Assessments for Veterans across the country, either per diem at a VES facility or at the provider's own office. The role involves conducting primarily interview-based exams with some physical assessments, range of motion testing, and muscle strength testing. This is a PRN position, with opportunities for half-day (4-hour) or full-day (8-hour) shifts. Follow up administrative work (addendums, medical opinions, and reading diagnostics) will be required. Key Responsibilities Conduct Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams and Separation Health Assessments for Veterans. Perform interview-based exams with some physical assessments including range of motion testing, muscle strength testing, and METs testing. Complete exams and submit reports, including any addendums, within the allotted time. Ensure compliance with Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) protocols and guidelines. Complete follow-up administrative work, including addendums, medical opinions, and reading diagnostics. Complete required training and become DMA certified. Required Qualifications Physician (MD or DO). Active and unrestricted full license in Arizona. Board Certified Willingness to complete DMA training to become DMA certified. Proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory, and cardiovascular issues. Own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products). CV needs current home address listed for presentation Must be within the specified radius of the location. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams. Background in General Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Orthopedic Surgery. DMA certified. Skills & Competencies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong assessment and diagnostic skills. Ability to work independently and efficiently. Proficiency in medical documentation and reporting.
