Outside Parts Sales Rep

Description The Outside Parts Sales Representative is required to have experience with outside parts sales in an industrial or commercial environment. This is a relationship selling position and requires strong sales skills that focuses on problem solutions and ability to close the deal. Requires professionalism, great attitude, good communication, interpersonal and presentationskills, outstanding world class customer service, and good mechanical aptitude. RESPONSIBILITIES: Prospect for new customers by telephone, cold calling, referrals, e-mail and networking Customer/account follow-up - CRM, phone, email Responsible for outside parts sales Educating customers on new product lines & promotions Assist when necessary the counter personnel with orders, deliveries, returns, and inventory Enter customer data in CRM Research parts request & upsell - think outside the box to satisfy parts needs Keep customers updated on the status of their orders Responsible for knowing OEM product offerings Resolve customer issues Prepare proposals for parts Ensure the specs and pricing are correct on the proposal Verify customer credit with the credit department Confirm availability of stock Communicate discounts and incentives and apply to invoice Performs other special projects and duties as assigned. Work cross-functionally with other departments to communicate/collaborate leads on new and used rental sales, warehouse/racking/automation and any other Shoppa’s opportunities across our network and product offerings. Qualifications REQUIREMENTS: HSdiploma; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years successful outside parts sales experience in an automotive, industrial or commercial environment Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook Professional personal appearance Extremely high level of attention to detail and a focus on customer service Strong prospecting and effective negotiating skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Deliver world-class customer service to our customers. (Ability to lift up to 50lbs)
