With over $5 billion in revenue and almost 20,000 employees in 600 offices throughout North America, HUB has grown substantially, in part due to our industry leading success in mergers and acquisitions.Position SummaryThe Licensing Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and tracking various entity and personnel licenses and continuing education, staying abreast of industry practices, state regulations, carrier procedures, and providing support to the National Director of Licensing and Compliance in driving Hub’s compliance initiatives. The Licensing Coordinator will play a key role in determining any gaps in licensing needs and will ensure accurate processing on state and carrier levels.To be successful in this role, you will need to be an independent, positive, detail-oriented individual with strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills. You will need to be able to thrive in fast-paced environments and adapt well to change.This hybrid role can be based out of any HUB office location throughout the United States.Job Scope and ResponsibilitiesMaintain a licensing database for HUB employees and keep organized and up-to-date licensing records for both individuals and entitiesCoordination of the licensing process including new and renewal applicationsTrack and manage license expirations and renewals for Hub entities and producersRun licensing reports for new hires, identify continuing education, and additional licensing needsUnderstand continuing education requirements and maintain calendar for due datesAssist in the support of compliance and licensing initiativesCommunicate requirements with internal teams and follow-up when necessaryAssist in the development and maintenance of licensing processes and proceduresCorrespond with the Accounts Payable team for check requestsRequirementsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceAt least 2 years of work experienceExperience in the insurance industryLife & Health and/or Property & Casualty Insurance license preferred, or the ability to attain applicable insurance licensing within 6 months of hireMust be detail-oriented, able to multitask, and excel in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervisionMust be able to meet deadlines, work with a sense of urgency and have excellent customer service skillsStrong desire to learn and foster a community of complianceKnowledge of methods of compiling, organizing, and analyzing dataAbility to understand and apply rules, regulations, and proceduresAbility to plan, organize and coordinate work activities independentlyStrong written and verbal communication skillsJOIN OUR TEAMDo you believe in the power of innovation, collaboration, and transformation?
