Buffalo Wild Wings GO - Assistant ManagerPosition SummaryThe Assistant Manager plays a key leadership role in supporting the General Manager and ensuring consistent, high-level execution of daily restaurant operations. This position works opposite the General Manager’s schedule to provide continuous leadership coverage, maintain brand standards, and ensure smooth, efficient operations at all times.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operationsWork opposite the General Manager’s schedule to ensure leadership coverage and operational consistencyAssist with creating, managing, and adjusting team schedules to meet business and labor goalsPlace and manage food and supply orders, ensuring proper inventory levels and cost controlMonitor and control food cost, waste, and inventory varianceEnsure all Buffalo Wild Wings brand standards are consistently followedLead, coach, and support shift managers and team membersEnsure accurate order execution, speed of service, and guest satisfactionOversee food preparation, cooking, and quality controlMaintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standardsAssist with hiring, training, and onboarding of team membersComplete opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and system checksExecute initiatives, projects, and directives from upper managementAddress guest concerns and resolve issues professionally and promptlyQualificationsPrior restaurant management or leadership experience preferredStrong organizational, time-management, and communication skillsAbility to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of food safety, sanitation, and operational procedures (ServSafe preferred)Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidaysAbility to stand for extended periods and perform physical job dutiesWhat We OfferCompetitive compensationGrowth and advancement opportunitiesLeadership development and hands-on operational experienceA structured, systems-driven work environmentPrevious experience as a restaurant manager * Extensive food and beverage knowledge, and the ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff * Great leadership skills * Familiarity with restaurant management software * Demonstrated ability to coordinate a staff
