When you thrive, so does the community of care we’re building together.Be the Best Associate Medical Director Visit Physician You Can BeIf you meet these qualifications, we would love to meet you:Maintains an active license and DEA in the state where care is being provided.What You Need to KnowAssociate Medical Director Visit Physician - ResponsibilitiesCreate a Plan of Care for each Patient at the inpatient unit, including discussing general inpatient care criteria and potential discharge plans with the IDG, patient, and familySign death certificates, as applicableParticipate in the evaluation and certification or recertification of the terminal prognosis, as applicableEstablish consistent times for daily rounds, including RNs, team directors, and social workers, and prepare staff for daily roundsConduct daily rounding on each patient receiving general inpatient careEstablish a schedule for physician coverage at the inpatient unitProvide education to IDG during rounds, and conduct in-services for newly hired staffPromote physician collaboration on PatientsEnsure the eligibility for general inpatient care is documentedProvide after-hours call coverage at the inpatient unit on days on which inpatient visits are made.Our Investment in YouCaring for others starts with caring for you.
