Wright Technical is currently supporting a top integration client who is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician in the Eastern US. This individual will have a strong mechanical and electrical background, advanced troubleshooting capability, and excellent customer-facing communication skills. They will join their North American Service Team supporting customers across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico through installation, maintenance, training, and service of industrial equipment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSInstall aftermarket parts and products; test systems to ensure proper operation and performancePerform preventative and corrective maintenance per service requests and work ordersDiagnose equipment issues and identify effective repair solutionsEducate customers on preventative maintenance schedules and best practicesPrepare quotes and sales orders for spare parts and consumablesComplete detailed service reports and documentationCommunicate service activity, findings, and proactive recommendations to customersSupport installation and commissioning of new equipmentTravel domestically and internationally for training, installation, and service supportBuild and maintain strong customer relationshipsAssist in other operational areas as workload requires REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma/GED or equivalent technical experience5+ years of experience as a Service Technician (industrial environment)Strong mechanical skills including:Conveyor systemsBearing replacementChain/sprocket systemsWear part replacementEquipment leveling and alignmentStrong electrical skills including:Low-voltage troubleshootingElectrical panels480V systemsStrong pneumatic systems experienceAbility to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawingsFamiliarity with ABB and FANUC robotic systemsProficient with hand tools, power tools, multimeter, and diagnostic equipmentAbility to work flexible hours based on customer schedulesExcellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and diagnostic skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionWillingness to travel approximately 75% annually throughout North AmericaValid U.S. driver’s license with clean driving record and reliable transportation Wright Technical Services and our client are Equal Opportunity Employers.
