What You'll Do Manage the procurement of raw materials required for steel production, such as ferrous scrap, alloys and fluxes Purchases scrap metal materials in accordance with current market conditions based on pricing standards/models established by Company policy Ensure ferrous or non-ferrous products are up to quality specifications of both internal and external customers Owns internal and external customer service relating to ferrous or non-ferrous business Responsible for maintaining current pricing and market data for current and potential customers Responsible for meeting or exceeding buying/sourcing quotas What You'll Need Industrial Ferrous/Non-Ferrous buying experience a plus Ability to demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills, utilize company resources and deliver exceptional customer service (internal & external) Demonstrates buying/selling skills & product knowledge Contract negotiation experience preferred Your Education Bachelor's degree preferred We are CMC, a Fortune 500? company at the leading edge of our industry.
