MMI is looking to hire a crane technician who has the following qualifications. 3-5 years’ experience as an overhead crane technicianA minimum of 2-year hands-on electro-mechanical maintenance and/or equivalent military experienceMust have 480VAC 3 phase experienceKnowledge with electrical controls and VFDs Aptitude for both electrical and mechanical environments as well as familiarity with mechanical and electrical equipmentForklift experience Aerial lift experienceAbility to work heights The crane technician must possess excellent communication and writing skills Must have a valid state issued driver’s license Pay range: $38.00 - $48.00 per hour depending on experienceWe also offer the following benefits:Health insurance, Dental, Vision, Life401(k)Holiday payPaid time offGain Profit sharingResponsibilities:Inspecting equipment to ensure it is in good working orderPerforming regular maintenance and inspections of cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipmentInstalling new cranes and other lifting equipment, wiring and troubleshootingReview records of work performed on equipment to track service history and detect any potential problems before they occurInspecting crane components for signs of wear or damage in order to identify possible causes of accidentsPerforming routine maintenance on cranes and replacing parts as neededCrane technician must be physically able to:Lift and carry objects weighing more than 50 lbs.Stoop, kneel, crawl, lay, bend, squat for long periods of timeWork outdoors in all weather conditionsWhy should you apply?
