OR RN Job Description OR RN Job Summary The OR RN will be responsible for providing direct patient care in the operating room setting at Methodist Hospital Northeast. This includes circulating duties, monitoring patients, and ensuring a safe and sterile environment. The position requires rotating call shifts. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in the operating room, including circulating. Monitor patient vital signs and overall condition. Ensure a safe and sterile environment. Adhere to hospital and unit policies and procedures. Participate in rotating call shifts, including weeknights and weekends. Assist with a variety of surgical procedures, including orthopedics, general, gynecology, robotics, urology, vascular, cardiovascular, neuro, and thoracic. Required Qualifications Active RN license in the state of Texas. BLS certification. ACLS certification. OR circulator experience. Ability to fulfill rotating call (one night a week minimum, one weekend per 5wk schedule minimum). Preferred Qualifications Experience in orthopedics, general, gynecology, robotics, urology, vascular, cardiovascular, neuro, and thoracic surgeries.
