Join our mission as our next Verification and Validation Engineer I to help with formal verification and validation of complex medical devices under the regulations of the FDA. The individual will be part of an engineering team that is responsible for requirements-based test design and execution of test procedures in a BL2 lab environment. The team is highly collaborative and will require regular interactions in formal reviews, test planning activities, and working with software development to reproduce and verify system defects.This position is onsite full-time in Rochester, NY.The ResponsibilitiesDevelop Requirements based manual test procedures using HP ALM Quality CenterExecute test procedures both in a virtual and lab environmentCompile and analyze test resultsAccess requirements for testability and determine best test approachDocument and manage system software defectsParticipate in regular scheduling and team meetingsDocument and manage Test plans, Tracing and ReportsPerform other work- related duties as assignedPerform other work-related duties as assignedThe IndividualRequired:B.S. At QuidelOrtho, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary range for this position is $25/hour to $30/hour and is bonus eligible.
