Pharmacist - Inpatient Critical Care Pharmacist - Inpatient Critical Care Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Inpatient Pharmacist to join our team. In this role, you will provide pharmaceutical care services with a focus on critical care, ensuring optimal medication management and patient safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and the ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team. This is a travel position working a 7 on 7 off schedule, providing coverage every other weekend. The shift is a 3x10-Hour or 4x10-Hour night shift (16:00 - 02:00). Key Responsibilities: Provide pharmaceutical care services in an inpatient setting, with a focus on critical care. Perform clinical dosing, pharmacokinetic dosing, and therapeutic medication monitoring. Review and verify medication orders for appropriateness, dosage, and potential interactions. Provide drug information and education to healthcare professionals and patients. Prepare and dispense medications, including IV piggyback and IV push medications. Participate in interdisciplinary patient care rounds and contribute to treatment plans. Required Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pharmacist. Inpatient/Acute care experience. BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross. Active California (CA) State Pharmacist license. Preferred Qualifications: Community Hospital Experience. Trauma Level II Experience. Epic charting experience.
