Do you bring the steady expertise needed to ensure every element is built to the highest standard?CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a CEI Project Administrator/Project Engineer to join our Construction Inspection Team at a client site in Central Florida in Districts 1, 4, or 6, where you will be instrumental in directing inspection activities for major and complex infrastructure projects. We offer most employees the option of ahybridschedule with a work week that includes both office and work from home days.Maintain precise records of plans, documents, and submittals in line with FDOT guidelinesCoordinate between owners, contractors, and inspection staff to keep everyone alignedReview daily inspection reports and quantity computations for accuracy and complianceReview and distribute contractor submittals to ensure they meet contract requirementsTrack contract progress, maintain project tracking logs, prepare monthly progress estimates, build and maintain the final estimate packageAssign tasks to inspectors and support all phases of project executionEnsure all activities align with FDOT policies and the Construction Project Administration Manual (CPAM)Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field & Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience in relevant transportation projects OR HS Diploma or equivalent and 8 years of engineering experience in relevant transportation projectsPrior experience as Project Administrator, Assistant Project Administrator or Contract Support Specialist in relevant transportation projects requiredValid driver’s license requiredAbility to navigate active construction sitesStrong oral and written communication skillsProficiency in interpreting client contracts and enforcing standardsCTQP Final Estimates Level II, FDOT Advanced MOT, and/or CTQP Quality Control Manager credentials preferredGain exposure to diverse fieldwork, technical challenges, and hands‑on problem‑solving on active job sitesEnjoy a flexible work environment with opportunities for local and occasional travelBe part of a team dedicated to enhancing transportation infrastructure—roads, bridges, railways, and more—across the nationCurious about the impactful work our Construction Inspection team is doing?
