If you are a friendly, motivated person, with a passion to serve others, the Mokara Hotel & Spa may be your perfect match.To ensure proper training and supervision of all personnel, to deliver prompt, courteous service in a manner that complies with Omni Food and Beverage standards and company policies and procedures.Responsible for assigned shift, assisting in overall managementSupervise and coordinate assigned shift; pre-meal meeting conducted with staff dailyAssist in overall supervision of the departmentCheck staff punctualityMonitor timing of guest experienceSpot check liquor parsOrder daily suppliesComplete Moments of Service AuditsHandle guest comments and complaintsEnsure guest satisfactionStay on the floor during peak hoursCommunicate with guests and receive feedbackObserve, teach, and correct staff's serviceExamine food preparationExamine beverage presentationMaintain condition of dining roomAdministrative responsibilitiesAssist Director of Outlets in scheduling , forecast weekly, forecast monthly and completing weekly payrollParticipate in interviewing applicantsPrepare maintenance requests and follow-upComplete other assigned dutiesMonitor food and liquor requisitionsMonitor food wasteMonitor labor and payroll costsCheck bar controls, shot glass use, red lining, empty bottlesMust be familiar with and adhere to all liquor liability lawsMust know emergency procedures (including CPR) and work to prevent accidentsPerform any other duties assigned by managementMust have and maintain current Serv Safe Food Managers Exam and TABC certifications.2 years experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or Restaurant Manager, preferably in a 4 star high volume Restaurant or hotel is preferred.Minimum of 4 years experience in the hospitality industry.Micros knowledgeAbility to make quick decisions in high stress situationsAbility to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, members, management and co-workers, both in person and by telephone.Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and multi task.Prior serving and cash handling experience preferred.Must be able to work flexible shift including nights, weekends, and holidays.Collaborate with culinary team in creative in food presentations, specials and promotions.Familiarity with food and beverage cost controls.Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Understanding previous culinary training or experience with Menu Design.Omni Hotels & Resorts is an equal opportunity employer.
