Senior Acquisition Program Engineer - Systems

Odyssey Systems is seeking a Senior Acquisition Program Engineer - Systems to support the AFLCMC/EBU AMRAAM Production and Sustainment Program at Warner Robins AFB, GA. The selected candidate will apply advanced weapon systems engineering expertise to support production, sustainment, and lifecycle management activities in compliance with Air Force and DoD acquisition processes.Duties include, but not limited to:Provide systems engineering support across production and sustainment phases.Manage and sustain the program technical baseline; support system-level reviews and tests.Analyze engineering data and evaluate weapon system performance.Conduct and support engineering trade studies considering performance, cost, risk, and schedule.Support requirements development, validation, and configuration management.Provide technical input to acquisition documentation, reviews, and IPTs.Support risk management activities in alignment with AF SEAM processes.Utilize requirements management tools such as DOORS.Citizenship: Must be a US citizenMinimum Required QualificationsClearance: Must have and be able to maintain an active Secret ClearanceEducation: Bachelor’s degree in related discipline+ 20 years relevant experiencePreferred QualificationsEducation: Master’s degree + 15 years of relevant experience ORPHD in related discipline+ 5 years relevant experienceExperience supporting Air Force or DoD weapon system acquisition programsExperience supporting ACAT I or ACAT II programsTechnical SkillsWeapon systems and systems engineeringRequirements and configuration managementTrade studies and technical assessmentsVerification and validationRisk management (AF SEAM)Interpersonal SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsClear technical writing and briefing abilityEffective collaboration within IPT environmentsAdditional InformationLocation: Warner Robins AFB, GATravel: May be required at the customer’s discretionOnsite#LI-SB1Odyssey Systemsis a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem with airborne integration, ISR, C2, and warfighter readiness capabilities.
