Kimley-Horn is looking for a Project Coordinator to join our Columbus, Ohio (OH) office! This is not a remote position.Interfacing with clients regarding project expectations, schedule, permitting process, etc.Facilitating client communications (proposals, letters, contracts, transmittals, etc.). including preparing weekly trackers or job status communications for clientsCoordinating staff and contractors locally and nationallyCoordinating project submittals to various jurisdictional agencies, cities, utilities, etc. and researching agency requirementsTracking all tasks and client deliverable documentsAssisting engineering staff with contract processes and requesting insurance certificatesCreating, proofreading, editing, formatting, and finalizing project-related documents and reportsCoordinating administrative and other project activities including meeting scheduling, progress tracking, and documentation for Project Managers and Project AnalystsAccepting incoming purchase orders and setting up electronic job folders, online trackers, input into internal accounting system, and creating and tracking purchase orders for subcontractorsProcessing vendor and subconsultant invoices or assisting internal clients with billing and performing invoice reviewsProviding administrative and logistical support. such as compiling and assembling reports; coordinating large production jobs, printing, and bindingProblems are typically of a routine nature but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard proceduresAssist PM with project accounting and invoicingProviding mentorship and guidance for staffAssist with design tasks in CAD3-5+ years of experience coordinating projects for national/corporate clientsBachelors degree preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHighly proficientin MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Proficient in Adobe ProfessionalStrong proofing, formatting and editing skillsPositive, client-oriented, take-charge attitudeHighly organized and detail-orientedCapable of managing and balancing multiple tasks/priorities and performing well under deadline pressureAbility to work well with various types of people and in a team environmentAbility to travel on a limited basisAt Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
