Located in the Phoenix, Ariz., suburb of Chandler, the Chandler Regional Medical Center is a 429-bed, not-for-profit hospital with more than 2,600 team members and almost 1,000 doctors on staff representing all major specialties. This is a unique opportunity to be at theforefront of cardiac innovation, enhancing your skills within a dynamic, supportive, and forward-thinking clinical environmentEvery day you’ll independently operate all ancillary equipment in the lab including but not limited to: IVUS, pressure wire, rotablator, IMPELLA, atherectomy devices, laser and angiojet. You will demonstrate competencies in scrubbing techniques of all diagnostic and interventional procedures, utilize good radiation safety practices and you will make a positive impact on internal and external customers.To be successful in this role, you’ll need to fully understand the importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes knowledge of the general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and capturing clear results for timely and accurate diagnosis.Thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the imaging orderRoutinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself.Mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures.Minimum:Two (2)-years of current Radiology Technologist and hands-on scrub including interventional experience.Completion of approved JRCERT Radiologic Technologist Program.ADHS Bureau of Special Licensing -Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) CI, VI or CV.Has, and maintains, AHA certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).Computer skills including MS Office Suites or Google Work Space.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Preferred:Experience in a specialty area or high acute facility.Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University/College.Registered cardiovascular electrophysiology specialist (RCES), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
