GovCIOseeks aNetwork Administrator(SME)to support our U.S. Coast Guard program. This hybrid role is based in Kearneysville, WV, with significant on-site presencerequired.Administer and maintain SIPRNet network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, TACLANEs, and encryption devices, ensuring compliance with DoD and DISA security standardsImplement and enforce security configurations and hardening across network devices,serversand endpointsin accordance withSTIGs and RMF requirementsConduct vulnerability scans (e.g., ACAS, SCAP), analyze findings and remediate security issues tomaintainsystem accreditationDevelop andmaintaindetailed network documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration baselinesand change control recordsSupport RMF lifecycle activities by preparing and updating accreditation artifacts such as System Security Plans, POA&Ms, andeMASSentriesMonitor system performance and security alerts; troubleshoot connectivity,authenticationand configuration issues within classified environmentsCollaborate with cybersecurity teams, systemengineersand program leadership to align network resources with mission requirementsParticipate in technical reviews and change control boards; provide expert recommendations on design modifications and security posture improvementsStay current with emerging technologies, DoD cybersecurity mandates, and best practices for classified network operationsHigh School with 10+ years (or commensurate experience)Clearance Required: Secret clearanceRequired Skills and ExperienceCurrent DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, SSCP)Minimum5years of experiencewith Cisco routers (39xx, 4xxxx, 8K), switches (29xx, 38xx, 9K), and firewalls (55xx and above)3 yearsofactive experience with TACLANEs (KG 175D, F, N, and G) and GEM management console at a configuration and engineering build levelPreferred Skills and Experience USCoast Guard experience is highly preferredExperience withthese software and technologyplatforms:Cisco ISE, DoD Zero Trust implementation, F5, Infoblox DNS and Palo Alto firewallsExperience working directly with government leadership or senior military officialsGDMS TACLANE school attendanceStronginterpersonal skills, problem-solving skills, and time management skills #JP #USCG #DICEGovCIO is a team of transformers--people who are passionate about transforming government IT. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.USD $124,000.00 - USD $155,000.00 /Yr.
