About the ProjectnSepal is conducting a qualitative research study to define benchmarks of professional excellence in economics education. We are looking for experienced professionals to contribute their expertise through structured documentation of their work, creation of domain specific screening criteria, and development of high quality case studies.nSelected contributors will help shape an industry informed framework for evaluating economics education expertise, with a focus on real world practices, decision making, and professional judgment.nnIdeal Participants May Hold Titles Such Asn- Economics Professorn- Microeconomics Instructorn- Macroeconomics Lecturern- Econometrics Teachern- Applied Economics Facultyn- Economic Policy InstructornnRequirementsn- Master's degree or higher in Economics, Applied Economics, or a closely related quantitative fieldn- Minimum 4 years of full time professional teaching or research experience in economicsn- Proficiency in econometric software and quantitative research methodsn- Published research or policy analysis experience (preferred)n- Fluent in Englishn- Currently residing in the United States or Canadan- Access to a computer with stable internet and video conferencing capabilitiesn- Comfortable with remote work tools (messaging, video calls, uploading documents)n- Able to work independently and follow written instructionsnnWhat You'll Don- Share your professional journey, research interests, and teaching philosophyn- Help define field specific evaluation criteria used in economics faculty hiring and research assessmentn- Document at least one substantial research project, course innovation, or policy analysis, including context, methodology, challenges, and outcomesn- Participate in short feedback or calibration sessions as needednnCompensation & Logisticsn- $55 to $85 per hour, depending on expertise and relevance, with bonuses for key contributionsn- Begins with a paid trial periodn- Paid every two weeks based on approved and tracked hoursn- Fully remote and async friendly, work at your own pace within flexible deadlinesn- Location: United States or Canada
