This is your chance to make a meaningful impact in a state-of-the-art, 14-bed Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) with a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. About the Role: As a Pediatric CICU Registered Nurse, youu2019ll provide direct, specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients with congenital heart disease and/or post-surgical needs. Youu2019ll work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, develop and implement individualized care plans, and maintain a safe, family-centered environment. Youu2019ll also play a vital role in process improvement and educational initiatives to continually advance patient care. Key Responsibilities: + Deliver direct patient care within the Nurse Practice Act, focusing on critically ill pediatric cardiac patients + Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans that are holistic and family-centered + Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and families + Engage in ongoing quality improvement projects and unit-based initiatives + Incorporate teaching and education into daily nursing practice Qualifications: + RN License (Associate Degree required; BSN required within 6 months of hire, completion within 24 months) + Minimum 1 year of recent Pediatric ICU RN experience in an acute care hospital + Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) u2013 required within 30 days of start + Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) u2013 required within 6 months of start + CCRN certification preferred + Experience in a childrenu2019s hospital setting preferred Benefits: + Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance + Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Family Leave + Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) + 401(k) Retirement Plan + Life Insurance, Short- and Long-Term Disability + Employee Stock Purchase Plan + Education Assistance (Tuition, Student Loan, Certifications) + Nursing programs and career development + Additional benefits: Pet Insurance, Legal Benefits, Identity Theft Protection, and more Ready to make a difference in the lives of children and their families?
