This position is ONSITE Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm at our Asheville (Arden) NC Eaton facility. , Relocation assistance will be provided, if needed., , The Material Operations Manager is responsible for managing the internal materials ,scheduling processes required inside an Eaton factory in order to drive the maximum adherence to the Master Production Schedule provided by the Network Planning team through the SIOP process., This role is responsible for the following core processes:⢠, , Scheduling production in the short term horizon based on the S,OE processes⢠, , Maintaining Inventory Accuracy through accurate cycle counting⢠, , Movement of materials through the facility, ⢠, , Internal receipts, storage, distribution and transportation⢠, , Manage logistics activities for the site, The expected annual salary range for this role is $113000 - $165000 a year. , Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations., What youâll do:In this role:Responsible for managing materials flow and transactions inventory to support the plantâs operations by deploying lean material flow.Responsible for the administration of Indirect , and MRO purchasing function according to policies and practices determined by Eaton standards.Responsible for generating short-term production scheduling aligned the plan defined by the NetworkResponsible for monitoring execution of production schedule defined by the Network ( schedule labor on factory floor, monitor execution of the production plan)Responsible for escalation of of material availability to the COE and Network teamsDrive forecast attainment aligned with the MPS resulted from the SIOP planExecute shipment schedule aligned with the customer priority dates aligned with the network and customer service team.Champion and deploy continuous improvement leveraging tools such as internal assessments ( MMA,OPA), visual management, standard work and value stream mappingResponsible for maintaining target inventory levels and meeting OTD goals for both internal and external customers and overall freight targets (including premium freight) aligned with the plan defined by the networkResponsible for plant owned data health activities including but not limited to routings and WMS system, MRO, shipping and receiving, part movements, production schedulingThis role is a point of contact to escalations related to execution of the overall SIOP plan
