Contracts Manager (Healthcare)

Description We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team on a contract basis. This role is based in Valencia, California, and will focus on managing vendor agreements and contracts within the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract law and negotiation, particularly within hospitals or healthcare organizations, and will play a critical role in ensuring compliance and optimizing vendor relationships. Responsibilities: + Review, redline, and negotiate hospital and healthcare vendor agreements, pricing contracts, and service agreements to secure favorable terms, reduce risk, and maximize vendor performance. + u2022 Ensure all contracts comply with operational procedures and regulatory standards, including privacy, safety, and billing requirements. + u2022 Maintain and oversee a large portfolio of contracts, tracking renewal dates, obligations, and key terms effectively. + u2022 Identify opportunities for process enhancements in contract administration to improve efficiency and compliance. + u2022 Act as the primary liaison between legal, compliance, supply chain, finance, and leadership teams to address contract-related concerns. + u2022 Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on best practices in contract management. + u2022 Support audits, due diligence efforts, and inquiries related to contract obligations. + u2022 Drive vendor performance by monitoring compliance with contractual terms and addressing issues proactively. Requirements u2022 Strong understanding of contract law and vendor management principles, equivalent to paralegal-level expertise. u2022 Proven experience in reviewing, redlining, and negotiating contracts within a hospital or healthcare setting. u2022 Demonstrated ability to mitigate risks and negotiate terms across various vendor categories. u2022 Track record of efficiently managing extensive contract portfolios with exceptional attention to detail. u2022 Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams. u2022 Expertise in commercial contracts, contract administration, and contract negotiations. u2022 Proficiency in drafting contracts with a focus on clarity and compliance.
