Inventory Control Clerk

Description We are looking for a meticulous and organized Inventory Control Clerk to oversee the tracking, management, and coordination of furniture, du00e9cor, and accessories across multiple warehouses. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that our design and staging teams have access to inventory in a timely and efficient manner. As a Contract to permanent position, it offers an excellent opportunity for growth within the company. Responsibilities: u2022 Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of inventory movements, including incoming and outgoing items. u2022 Conduct routine inventory audits to identify and resolve discrepancies. u2022 Label, tag, and categorize inventory items systematically to ensure easy identification and retrieval. u2022 Support staging activities and manage the return process, ensuring all items are handled with care. u2022 Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to coordinate inventory requests. u2022 Ensure inventory storage areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. u2022 Assist in preparing inventory reports for management and other relevant teams. u2022 Implement best practices for inventory management to improve efficiency. u2022 Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or excesses to the appropriate teams. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in inventory management or a related field. u2022 Familiarity with inventory tracking systems and software. u2022 Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. u2022 Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. u2022 Excellent communication skills to coordinate with multiple departments. u2022 Knowledge of safety protocols for warehouse environments. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. u2022 Ability to lift and move items as required during inventory handling.
