HR Specialist

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented HR Specialist to join our team in Monterey Park, California. This role will focus on managing payroll processes, supporting HR operations, and addressing employee inquiries while maintaining compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in payroll systems and HR practices, along with a commitment to delivering excellent service to employees and colleagues. Responsibilities: u2022 Process biweekly, multi-state payroll accurately using payroll systems such as ADP or similar platforms. u2022 Manage and maintain payroll records, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and resolving discrepancies promptly. u2022 Handle employee data changes, including new hires, terminations, and pay updates, with precision. u2022 Reconcile payroll prior to submission and review reports to ensure accuracy and completeness. u2022 Respond professionally to employee questions regarding payroll and HR matters, providing timely resolutions. u2022 Administer employee benefits enrollments, updates, and leave management processes. u2022 Support the preparation and distribution of annual W-2 forms and payroll reporting cycles. u2022 Collaborate with the HR team on onboarding activities, maintaining employee records, and implementing policies. u2022 Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll and sensitive employee information. u2022 Assist with audits and generate reports as needed to support HR compliance. Requirements u2022 3u20135 years of Human Resources experience, with at least 2 years in payroll processing using systems like ADP or similar. u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. u2022 HR certification, such as ADP-CP, is a plus. u2022 Strong understanding of payroll procedures, wage and hour regulations, and HR practices. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills being advantageous. u2022 Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks. u2022 Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities. u2022 Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and a detail-oriented approach.
