Description Our client is looking for a skilled Litigation Attorney to join their team in San Clemente, California. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone who is detail oriented, with expertise in civil litigation and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality legal services. The role involves managing complex cases, drafting legal documents, and actively participating in various stages of litigation. Responsibilities: u2022 Handle a caseload focused on civil litigation, including liability and business disputes. u2022 Draft and refine legal motions, pleadings, and discovery requests with precision. u2022 Conduct depositions of witnesses, experts, and involved parties to gather critical case information. u2022 Represent clients effectively during mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and settlement discussions. u2022 Perform thorough legal research to create well-reasoned and persuasive work products. u2022 Collaborate closely with partners to develop strategic approaches and prepare for trials. u2022 Maintain proactive communication with clients, providing updates and strategic advice. Requirements u2022 Active license to practice law in California. u2022 Experience in civil litigation, including liability and business cases that require attention to detail. u2022 Proven ability to draft motions, pleadings, and discovery documents with attention to detail. u2022 Strong skills in conducting depositions and managing discovery processes. u2022 Experience participating in mediations, arbitrations, and hearings. u2022 Proficiency in legal research and creating high-quality, reasoned legal work. u2022 Excellent communication skills for maintaining client relationships and collaborating with partners. u2022 Ability to manage multiple cases effectively in a fast-paced environment.
