Minimum Qualifications u2022 One year of permanent, competitive class service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law. Eligible titles include, but arenu2019t limited to: Administrative Assistant 1, Business Services Center Representative 1, Payroll Specialist 1, Program Aide, Taxpayer Services Rep 1, Payroll Examiner 1; ORu2022 Four years of customer service experience that required independence in both verbal and written communication responsibilities; ORu2022 An associate degree or higher and two years of customer service experience that required independence in both verbal and written communication responsibilities.Please be advised that the New York State Insurance Fund (NYSIF) does not offer sponsorship for employment visas to employees or potential employees. At a future date, it is expected employees hired under NY HELPS will have their non-competitive employment status converted to competitive status, without having to compete in an examination. Employees will then be afforded with all the same rights and privileges of competitive class employees of New York State.
