Paralegal

Description We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will provide essential support to attorneys by preparing legal documents, conducting research, and managing case files. You will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth handling of legal matters and client communications. Responsibilities: u2022 Assist attorneys with the preparation of legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and correspondence. u2022 Conduct thorough legal research and analyze case materials to provide valuable insights. u2022 Manage case files by organizing records, exhibits, evidence, and other pertinent materials. u2022 Coordinate meetings, depositions, and interviews with clients, witnesses, and other parties. u2022 Proofread and review legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with firm standards. u2022 Maintain electronic and physical files in accordance with firm policies and procedures. u2022 Support attorneys with administrative tasks, including scheduling and preparing presentations. u2022 Communicate effectively with courts, clients, and external parties to facilitate case progress. u2022 Assist with business development initiatives, events, and committee responsibilities as needed. u2022 Collaborate with legal assistants and other team members to meet client and firm needs. Requirements u2022 At least 3 years of experience in a paralegal or legal assistant role. u2022 Strong knowledge of legal procedures, terminology, and documentation. u2022 Proficiency in case management software and legal research tools. u2022 Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines. u2022 Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. u2022 Familiarity with areas such as civil litigation, trial preparation, and worker's compensation law. u2022 Experience with discovery, depositions, and plaintiff litigation is highly desirable. u2022 Knowledge of Filevine or similar legal software is a plus.
