FTE: 0.001000 Standard Hours: 0.01 Shift: Rotating Shift Details:Pick-up at least 40 hours in 6-week schedule period; assigned winter andsummer holiday; 16 weekend hours Job Summary: Provides continuouscardiac rhythm surveillance for patients in general care areas and theEmergency Department requiring telemetry monitoring. Demonstratesability to identify, quantify and communicate electrocardiographicpatterns and dysrhythmias. EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalentis preferred. TRAINING: Must complete ImPULSE Course and pass associatedmodule exams within 3 attempts with a score of 80%, or higher within twoweeks of initial start date. SPECIAL SKILLS: Must have the ability toadapt to change in a fast-paced work environment. Exemplarycommunication, telephone etiquette and customer service skills arerequired. Must possess analytical skills to gather and interpret routinedata. Must be capable of continuous monitoring of patients, remainingalert at all times while on duty. Working knowledge of Windows officesystems and all office equipment.
