Job Description This Rooftop Foreman has two openings 1 in Atlanta, GA. and 1 in Paramus NJ. The Rooftop Foreman will be responsible for leading all assigned tasks required to successfully install energy conservation projects including, but not limited to, ensuring a clean and prepared jobsite and assisting other Installers and Foreman with equipment assembly and installations. The Rooftop Foreman must work in the safest possible manner, following all National Electrical Code guidelines, OSHA guidelines, and the clients processes, procedures, and practices. Essential Duties and Responsibilities -Work in the safest possible manner while following all the clients and OSHA guidelines. -Complete all work according to National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines. -Report to Field Operations Manager, Site Superintendent, or Operations Manager to receive daily/weekly assignments. -Provide daily assignments and supervision to self-install team on site to ensure execution of daily requirements -Provide coaching, mentorship and guidance to self-install team on site to help develop team -Accountable for daily production targets and installation on site in addition to supervising onsite team; directly performs installation tasks in order to reach daily targets. -Maintain a clean and prepared jobsite and eliminate all possible hazards. -Perform a variety of tasks involving the use of hand tools, power tools and equipment used to complete the installation of commercial electrical projects. -Responsible for complete and correct installation of equipment within the guidelines of manufacturersu2019 instructions. - Assist with loading and unloading of trucks/vans and staging material. - Properly maintain all company property provided to perform job. -Interact in a professional and respectful manner with coworkers and customers. -Participate in weekly safety meetings. -Complete all company required safety training programs. -Assist with additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned. -Ability to recognize required tasks while work independently and lead tasks per the project schedule while adhering to QMP and seeking guidance from Project Manager, Site Superintendent, Operations Manager, or Field Operations Manager as needed. -Complete daily report of activities and progress including photographs, site conditions, and challenges or issues to be resolved. -Ability to look ahead and understand material needs, tool needs, manpower and information needed to keep everything on schedule. -Analyze job site, equipment and components to identify hazards/defects as well as the necessity for modification or maintenance and to ensure code compliance and compatibility with plans, specifications, and site conditions. -Responsible for driving a company vehicle and trailering equipment and material to and from job sites.
