Description We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our executive leadership team in Aurora, Colorado. This role will be pivotal in shaping the financial strategy, ensuring robust accounting practices, and driving operational excellence across a multi-location enterprise. The successful candidate will play a critical role in scaling the organization while fostering growth and disciplined decision-making. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee all finance and accounting operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. u2022 Develop and implement strategies for cash flow management, capital allocation, and equipment financing. u2022 Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and strengthen internal controls across financial functions. u2022 Create integrated management reporting systems that combine financial and operational data for strategic insights. u2022 Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, banks, insurers, and risk management partners. u2022 Collaborate with operational leaders to optimize pricing models, fleet utilization, and return on investment analyses. u2022 Direct financial planning and decision-making for multi-entity operations at both domestic and international levels. u2022 Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing accounting and financial planning team aligned with organizational goals and culture. u2022 Drive modernization initiatives and system upgrades to enhance financial processes and reporting capabilities. u2022 Partner with senior leadership to assess and execute long-term growth strategies. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; advanced certifications such as CPA or MBA are preferred. u2022 A minimum of ten years of progressive leadership experience in finance, including prior CFO or equivalent roles. u2022 In-depth knowledge of cost accounting, capital asset management, and financial operations for multi-location enterprises. u2022 Proven ability to lead and execute system implementations or modernization projects successfully. u2022 Exceptional collaboration skills to work effectively with lenders, investors, and executive teams. u2022 Strong leadership and mentoring abilities to build and sustain high-performing finance teams. u2022 Hands-on approach with the ability to balance strategic planning and operational execution. u2022 Industry experience in equipment rental, construction services, or other capital-intensive sectors is highly desirable.
