Building Maintenance and Carpenter Tech

The Building Maintenance & Carpentry Tech is primarily responsible for Building Maintenance and Carpentry projects within the offices. This position includes the following: general small carpentry repair, carpets and doing small installs, cubicle install and repair, window/door installs/repairs/repairs & repairs and painting, staining and small sheet rock patching. This position will be responsible for minor electric and plumbing repairs, troubleshooting maintenance issues and providing feedback whenever needed to make repairs. This position will also include driving Facilities Fleet vehicles when necessary. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Building maintenance; painting, minor electric & plumbing, repair and replacement of doors & windows, carpet repairs, and outdoor fence repairs Install and maintain office cubicles and furniture including some wiring of cubicles Minor roofing repairs Fence repairs Small concrete repairs Parking lot and building light fixture repairs, requiring aerial bucket truck when needed Snow removal w/ plow truck Troubleshooting and providing repair recommendations Skills & Requirements Experience in construction, building equipment maintenance or related trade field High school diploma and some experience in the use of hand and power tools Must possess some power tools and hand tools Able to lift up to 50 lbs Must have a valid Driver’s License Aptitude to troubleshoot electrical and plumbing issues Qualifications Don't see a job that meets with your interests?
