Role Summary The Occupational Health Clinic Coordinator supports daily onsite clinical operations focused primarily on Workersu2019 Compensation, employee health services, and case management. This role works closely with first responders and a remote Medical Director to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient care delivery. Patient volume ranges from 0u201315 visits per day, allowing for a strong focus on quality, documentation, training, and program coordination. ________________________________________ Clinic Support Structure u2022 Supported by 2 EMTs during clinic operations u2022 Medical Director is assigned and works remotely (Trane MD) u2022 First responders provide support coverage across all shifts u2022 No pharmacy onsite u2022 No phlebotomy responsibilities required ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Clinical & Employee Health Support u2022 Provide frontline occupational health services with a primary focus on Workersu2019 Compensation cases u2022 Perform clinical assessments, triage, and coordination of care in alignment with Medical Director guidance u2022 Administer drug and alcohol testing per company and regulatory standards u2022 Support employee pre-screening, onboarding, and new hire health orientation as needed Case Management & Compliance u2022 Manage Workersu2019 Compensation cases from injury intake through follow-up and resolution u2022 Coordinate communication between employees, HR, the Medical Director, and external providers u2022 Ensure compliance with written policies and procedures, including ADA-related processes u2022 Sign and adhere to NDAs related to Workersu2019 Compensation and employee health data Training & Program Coordination u2022 Support new-hire safety and health training u2022 Assist with onboarding workflows related to occupational health requirements u2022 Coordinate onsite wellness services and vendor visits (e.g., hearing and vision screenings) Equipment, Safety & Quality u2022 Conduct routine equipment checks, including EKG safety checks u2022 Maintain clinic readiness, supplies, and documentation standards u2022 Support quality improvement initiatives and workflow optimization ________________________________________ Patient Volume u2022 0u201315 patients per day, allowing time for case management, documentation, and prevention-focused work ________________________________________ Skills Occupational health, Rn license, workers compensation claims, ADA, FMLA, drug screening, case management Top Skills Details Occupational health Additional Skills & Qualifications Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications u2022 Experience in occupational health, workersu2019 compensation, or clinical case management u2022 Prior experience working in an onsite or employer-based clinic preferred u2022 Strong knowledge of workplace health, injury management, and compliance processes u2022 Excellent documentation, communication, and organizational skills u2022 Comfortable collaborating with a remote Medical Director u2022 Ability to follow established protocols and policies with attention to detail u2022 Current State Licensure u2013 Must have an active and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of South Carolina. u2022 Minimum 5+ years of experience emergency or clinical nursing experience preferred. u2022 Minimum 5+ years of occupational health highly preferred. u2022 CPR / BLS Provider certification required. u2022 Proficient experience using outlook, excel, and other computer skills. ________________________________________ Work Environment u2022 Onsite clinic setting u2022 Supported by EMT staff and first responders u2022 Predictable patient volume with a blend of clinical and administrative responsibilities Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbia, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
